New area of web technologies
In the previous post, we explained what web 1,2 and 3 exactly means and ended up with the novelty of internet technology — web3. People worldwide start using this innovation and do not even realize, what special features it covers and why it is worth of replacing web2 to web3. But we wish you would be aware of the digital reality and technologies.
Web3 is built on several key points:
· Decentralization
· Privacy protection
· Artificial intelligence and machine learning
We are going to explain each point one by one and compare it to the technologies of web2.
Decentralization means that information available on Internet is saved in multiple locations at the same time. Hence, nobody can access the stored data and delete it. Example: In web2 technology Twitter or Facebook can delete any post or account. Using web3 makes all information uncensorable, as the storage is decentralized.
Privacy protection means that web3 technology doesn’t not allow access to any personal data and doesn’t ask it for some internet operations. Example: When you use a payment service online with web2 technology, your operations can be easily denied. But web3 doesn’t require any personal information. Hence, all proper payments can be done.
Artificial intelligence and machine learning will also be used in Web 3.0 and allow computers to provide faster and more relevant results in a variety of sectors. Moreover, web3, being based both on machine learning and decentralization, will be extremely reliable. Example: Servers of web3 can’t go down, as they save all the information in multiple locations simultaneously.
All the things described above emphasize that web3 is a completely save, reserved and reliable technology. It is decentralized and provided with machine learning, so nobody will have access to your private data.
