Sberbank steals a startup from Ukraine
Large corporations have ceased to notice the intellectualproperty rights of young visionaries. The last boundaries are crossed with ease, appropriatingnot only ideas, but also ready-made solutions.
As time has shown, state-owned companies go too far. Bank of Memories - A startup, application for storing and transmitting information- has been run by a group of enthusiasts since 2016. Driven by the idea, they developed itwith the aim of recording what is most important — the memories of the moments they livedthrough. People can already use their developments, each in its own way.
The recent PR campaign of SBERBANK showed how easyit is to collect files from gullible startups and people burning with ideas, without noticingthe ownership rights, presenting stolen ideas as internal development. Can this beseen as piracy, or just a manifestation of the strength and impunity of a large company?
